A Common Sydney Shed Sighting
This photo was taken in a local Sydney shed, showing a female Redback spider guarding two large egg sacs. Each sac can contain up to 250 eggs, meaning a single spider can quickly turn into a major infestation. Female Redbacks have a very toxic, painful bite and are most commonly found around Sydney homes, often nesting in sheds, garages & outdoor furniture.
